What’s old is new again in Lake Dallas, a charming community on the shores of Lake Lewisville ten miles south of Denton in southeastern Denton County. The downtown area is redeveloping into a tree-lined, thriving area of historically accurate brick buildings filled with shops, restaurants, offices and living spaces around which community Mardi Gras, Fourth of July, Halloween and Holiday celebrations take place.

Lake Dallas’ traditional home neighborhoods have enjoyed rejuvenation and value increases, and new home developments have also been established. Residents are served the Lake Dallas Independent School District which recently celebrated the naming of Lake Dallas High School among the 2014 “Best High Schools” in the U.S. list published by U.S. News & World Report.
